Nuestra historia
A corner, a chair, a cafecito.
Esquina started in 2009 with one chair, a radio tuned to Radio Mambí and a coffee maker that never got turned off. Fifteen years later it’s four chairs on the corner of Calle Ocho and 15th Avenue — same checkerboard floor, same hot towels, same dominoes table out front.
Grandfathers bring their grandsons. Guys come straight from the airport before a wedding. Everybody leaves looking sharp and knowing a little more about what’s happening in the neighborhood.
